Temple Baptist Church Presents "The Jesus Film"

Wilmington, NC, March 14, 2018:  

Temple Baptist Church of Wilmington will offer a showing of “The Jesus Film” on Saturday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Midtown YMCA @ Temple Baptist Activity Center, located at 709 George Anderson Drive. There is no admission charge. Child care for younger children will be available, and popcorn with fixings will also be provided.

According to the Jesus Film Project web site (, “The Jesus Film” is a full-length feature that “tells the story of Jesus and God's plan to redeem mankind to himself.” It is a powerful portrayal of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ based on the Bible’s Gospel according to Luke. Originally produced in 1979, the film “has been translated into more than 1,500 languages” and has been shown in most of the countries of the world.

This showing is open to the public. Temple Baptist gives a special invitation to those who are not involved in church but may be curious to know more about the life of Jesus.
